The Worthmore approach has always been and will always be to embrace the strange and build a passionate team through open-mindedness and honest communication. It is what fuels our innovative approach to jewelry design, curation, and distinctively positive customer experience.
We could tout our national accolades, such as being named “Coolest Store in America” by InStore Magazine, or being ranked as one of the top 3 design stores in the US by our industry’s largest publication JCK Magazine – but, we are more concerned about how our friends, family and neighbors think about us right here in our very own community. That’s why we are super proud of being named Jeweler of the Year 24k Club, “Best in Atlanta” by Atlanta magazine, Creative Loafing, Insite, CBS News, Georgia Voice, as well as “Best of Yelp” and “Best to do Business With” in the jewelry trade and American Express members favorite.
When you come into our stores you’ll still see our owners, Harris, Geri, and Joan, and you’ll see familiar faces time after time, because we love our team and our team loves you. And, speaking of love – we don’t discriminate when it comes to love regardless of race, religion, or gender! Breaking tradition is such a part of who we are….especially if it goes against some of the typical stuffy norms!
We are an American gem society store
The American Gem Society (AGS) was founded in 1934 by a small group of leading jewelers. Their goal was to create an organization that could help protect the jewelry-buying public from fraud and false advertising. Today, we’re proud to say their vision has become a reality.
Approximately 3,000 jewelers, retailers, suppliers, individual titleholders and affiliates have joined the American Gem Society and have dedicated themselves to consumer protection, ethical business practices, and development and maintenance of superior gemological skills and knowledge.
Only one in twenty jewelers have met the exacting requirements necessary for membership. To join the AGS, every member must go through a peer-reviewed application process and complete an annual recertification exam. This process ensures that every AGS member you meet is at the top of their game, and more importantly, each one has pledged to protect their customers by providing expert gemological knowledge of the products they sell, and adhering to strict standards of ethics.
