Unfortunately we lost Scuba Steve to heart trouble November 2007. Scuba was a very special part of Worthmore. No dog will ever replace Scuba, but we hope to one day have a new greeter to fill his bed.
I am the official greeter of Worthmore and in charge of the complaint department. I am sort of like the Maytag man when it comes to complaints. My crew does such a good job making sure everyone is taken care of and happy I never get any. You will recognize me in the store as I am the only one that walks around on four legs. I have been a part of the Worthmore crew since I was a puppy. In May of 2006 I will have been faithfully greeting customers (when I am not sleeping on my throne) my entire life of five years. My favorite customers are the ones who like to play tug a war and bring me treats. I also enjoy sticking my face in baby carriers, as those kids always have some food on their face for me to lick before Harris catches me. If you are by chance scared of dogs just let anyone in the store know and I will go in the back room (which always gets me a treat) and I will be out of sight. If you're just a little scared of dogs give me a chance ... I may be big, but I am also a big lover. In my time at Worthmore I have cured many visitors of their lifelong fear of dogs. Be sure to give me a pat on the head next time you're in as I never mind being woken up to say hello.
