I am a.k.a. girl from Belarus (google it for fun) I have been part of Team Worthmore since 2003. I discovered Worthmore after my husband was looking for a jewelry store that did custom work and would listen to his specifications of what he wanted for me. After his first visit to Worthmore he knew Worthmore was the only choice to have my engagement ring made. As a result, I ended up with a timeless ring that I receive compliments on daily. It soon became a tradition anytime my husband and I were in the area we had to go visit our friends at Worthmore. Then it happened, Harris asked me if I would consider working at Worthmore part-time. This truly was a great day for me. After a while, getting to work only weekends was not enough. I wanted to be at Worthmore all the time. What can I say after Harris saw how great I am, (and that I am always right) my wish was granted and I became a full timer at Worthmore.
I have always believed that if you find work you love, you never have have to work a day in your life. For me being a part of Worthmore has been like having seven days off a week for the last five years. It does not even seem that long because I love what I do and I am surrounded by an incredibly talented group of people who share the same passion for precious jewelry.
I am grateful every day that Harris gave me a chance and saw my potential. He has been a great mentor, awesome boss and an amazing friend all these years.
I am thankful to Harris and the scholarship from 24 Karat Club Of Southeastern United States for being able to enroll in distance education program offered by GIA to become a Graduate Gemologist. I have completed all of the diamond courses and currently learning about fascinating world of colored stones.
I spent most of my five years with Worthmore at our Midtown location being in charge of shipping and receiving department and only recently became a manager of our new Decatur store.
